Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I order just one week to try it out?
    This is a meal subscription service so once you are signed up you are billed weekly. You can easily cancel or suspend your subscription anytime.
  • What happens if I am away one week or on holiday?
    Simply send us an email and we can suspend your subscription anytime.
  • What happens when I cancel with payments?
    Because this is a subscription service you are billed one week in advance. So from the day you cancel you will get that following weeks food and then your plan will be over.
  • How many servings is each meal?
    Each plan has 1 serving size per dish. Our Family subscription is 9 servings total
  • How many menu options do I have for each week?
    You have 3 delicious and very nourishing menu options. You will pick your meal quantities based on your meal subscription plan.
  • Does this plan work for Vegetarians or Vegans?
    YES! There is a selection when you are ordering and we are able to make all of your dishes to suit this dietary preference!
  • I am a celiac, can I do this plan?"
    All of Nourished To-Go meals are gluten free!! If you have any food allergies we do everything we can to make sure your food is safe! We are working in another food facility so we DO NOT guarantee any allergies. But we are very careful when creating your food.
  • Do each of the meals include animal protein?
    Yes! We use high quality meats in most of our dishes however there are always options to select a plant based protein instead.
  • Is everything organic?
    At the moment we focus on local, whole, real food. We do not use only organic but a lot of our menu is organic. Quality ingredients are very important to us and we strive to use the top quality foods we can find.
  • When do I order my food?
    The new menu will be emailed to you every Wednesday. It will also be up for viewing on the members page. You should have your order in by Friday at 12pm latest.
  • What happens if I don’t get my order in on time?
    Don’t worry! If you miss submitting your form before Friday at noon, we choose your meals for you! If your subscription comes with 3 meals, we choose 1 of each meal, if your subscription comes with 5 meals, we give you 2 of each animal protein meal, and one of the vegetarian options.
  • What if I can’t pick up my order?
    We offer local delivery to Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill, Duncan and Mill bay for an extra $10charge. You pay this at time of drop off or you can pay here.
  • How can I find the members page?
    Once you have subscribed you will be provided the password to access the members page. Click to access the members page now.
  • What happens if it says SOLD OUT when I go to join?
    We are only accepting a limited amount of people each week and this is to assure the quality of the service and food. We are constantly managing it and making sure we are able to offer you the best food service we can. If you see the SOLD OUT pop up make sure you enter your email address to be contacted as soon as a space opens up!
  • How to choose my meals each week
    Each week Our new menu launches on Tuesday night, and we send an email Wednesday that goes out to all our subscribers with links to the new menu page and selecting your weekly meals.
  • How to select on google forms
    We get our subscribers to fill out a form every week. We have 2 different types of forms 3 meals or 5 meals, choose the correct form based on your subscription. Any allergies or prefrences for your meals can be listed in the allergies or special notes area.
  • What is the Difference between budget and elevated meals?
    We have 2 different types of meals, budget and elevated meals. Our Mini, Mini + snack, Nourished , Nourished Family and Nourished+snack subscription are all elevated meals, and our Budget 5 and Budget 3 are our budget meals. The elevated meals are a larger portion of every ingredient, with more components and toppings, whereas the budget meals are a smaller portion with less components.
  • Billing cycles
    Our system bills you every 7 days, and you are billed a week in advance. So if you sign up and a payment goes processed on Wednesday, that payment is for the following Tuesday’s meal pickup.
  • Can I switch my account type?
    Unfortunately we don’t have a way to switch account types at the moment, but if you would like to change up your weekly subscription, send us an email and we’ll walk you through how to change your weekly subscription!
  • Can suspend my account?
    Definitely! If you’re away on vacation, or wanting to pause for a couple weeks just send us an email and we can suspend your account! The only thing to note is that we are currently unable to suspend your account if you have automatic payments setup through paypal, and currently offer a refund in the amount of your weekly payment if you choose to suspend for a week.
  • What if I know someone who could really use some nourishment?
    We love our community, and we believe that you should always give back to your community when you can. If you know someone going through a tough time, struggling with mental health, maybe a new mom, or someone who is just so deserving of some nourishment head to our Instagram page, @nourishedtogo and in the link in our bio we have a form called “nourished Nominations”. Fill out the information in the form, and your nomination will be kept for a future giveaway.
